About Us
River Road Middle School is one of the two middle schools in the Elizabeth City-Pasquotank County School System.
River Road Middle School is located between Elizabeth City State University and the United States Coast Guard Base. It is a prime location for an enriching education in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM).
We pride ourselves in our students striving to display Honor, Courage, and Commitment on a daily basis.
We have highly-motivated students who strive to give 110% on a daily basis in the classroom.
Mission, Vision & Goals
Vision - We have One Belief, One Focus, One Goal. The Belief that ALL students will perform at their maximum academic potential. We Focus on students learning and demonstrating what it means to maintain social, academic, and emotional excellence. The Goal is to prepare students for life and success in the ever changing world they will lead one day.
Mission Statement - River Road Middle School will partner with parents and the community to provide our students with a rigorous and challenging education that is based on data-driven decision making in preparation for graduation from high school. We believe that every child can learn when they are provided a support system that is prepared to meet their social, educational, and emotional needs.
